Below are the instructions for installing the FanGolf application.
- 1. Download the latest version of the FanGolf application either as a gzip file (for Linux) or zip file (for Windows).
- 2. Unpack the file that you download in Step 1.
Note: If you downloaded a trial version of the application, the files will be encrypted. To see the source code you will need to purchase a license of the application.
- 3. In a browser, go to the install.php script on the machine which you unpacked the application on. The url will be something like: http://yourdomain.com/admin/install.php
- 4. On the install.php page you will be prompted to login. The default id and password is:
id: fgadmin
pwd: password
- 5. Once you have authenticated / logged in with the info above, follow the instructions on the screen to install the application. The install process will configure the basic parameters for the application and create the application's database in MySQL.
Note: the machine which you install the application must have PHP 4.1.3 or greater and MySQL 4 or greater running on the machine.
